Subway, an exasperating starhub customer operator & office politics

I had Subway for the first time on Tuesday at Suntec..which is really amazing..cos the last time I actually ate smth lidat..was ages ago..I haven't even eaten a burger for.............years? =PpP n I have a really silly reason too..cos I dun like to open my mouth so wide just to bite the bread -_- bleah..laugh all u want..but it makes sense to me!! it was nice la..but I like the cookie better..

yesterday..which was Wed..I suddenly tot it was kinda weird cos I didn't receive any smses at all..moreover..I msged my frens in the morning..initially..I tot it was MY phone screwing up..so I turned it off..n turned it on..thrice..suddenly I received a msg from WJ..which was sent HOURS ago..zzz..n I knew wad was happening..yet AGAIN..

STARHUB.

..I could only receive from starhub users..so irritating..it's alright if it happens on public holidays..but yesterday? just another ordinary day ma..

so I called 1633..tis dingaling operator..drove me crazy..

I explained my problem to him..

Me: "I can only receive from starhub users but not those using other service providers.."

Him: "hmmmmmmmmmm..maybe u can check ur msg centre number..see whether it is tis number..bla bla.."

Me: "ok..so where do I check tis?"

Him: "errrrrrrr..I dunno cos I'm not using Nokia phone.."

den who will know if he doesn't? my grandma ah??? even if he didn't know..he could have asked someone else to help me..instead of giving me tis kinda funny answer..

Me: "....................okok..bye..I go find it.."

Him: "if u are unable to rectify the problem..pls call back again..starhub will do its best to help u........."

YA RIGHT.

so I found the thing..CORRECT MA the number..

calls 1633 again..

damn unlucky..I get the same joker..

Me: "I checked already..the number is the same..so wad do I do now?"

Him: "er.........maybe u should check ur frens hp..see whether their msg centre number the same or not.."

?!?!?!?! WHUT??????? so for example..if my cousin sends me an sms from China n I dun receive it I must go to China to see whether his msg centre number matches mine ar?????????

Me: "WADDDDDDDDDD????"

very irritated already..

Him: "cos u might have ACCIDENTALLY activated ur sms barring.."

Me: "NO I DIDN'T.."

Him: "ur frens might have ACCIDENTALLY activated THEIR sms barring.."

by then I was holding my head in my hands ready to wave the white flag..I WAS TALKING TO SOMEONE WHO DOESN'T KNOW HIS JOB!!!! doofus..ignoramus..

I tink he sensed my annoyance..so he changes tactic..

Him: "u can tell ur frens to check with their service provider.."

Me: "..........MY FRENS ARE USING M1 AND SINGTEL..they aren't having tis problem.."

Him: "maybe u can check with their service provider.."

OMG..I WAS SO GOING TO IMPLODE..IDIOT!!

Me: "SO U ARE TELLING ME TAT I SHOULD CALL SINGTEL NOW IS IT???????"

Him: "no..maybe their service provider bla bla.."

OMGOMGOMG

Me: "CHECK WITH OTHER PROVIDERS? DEN WHY AM I EVEN PAYING FOR UR LOUSY SERVICE??"

Him: "okok..I check for u now.."

...............................n he puts me on hold for 10 mins..

Him: "sorry to keep u waiting..I checked already..everything is alright..there's nothing I can do.."

Me: "fine..okok bye.."

n tat ended our silly conversation..5 mins later my phone rang non-stop from all the msges coming in..

BASKET! obviously their fault for the retarded lag la!

but when I tink about it today..I actually feel very guilty for raising my voice at him =/ sorry ar whoever u are..

n work today..just sucked..our officer..let's just call her X..fuss over every single cent I earn..$5 only..also want to be so calculative..zzz..such ppl will come to no good end man..

I'm only TEMP STAFF lei..young enough to be ur daughter still la..so calculative FOR WAD? imagine if ur own kid is treated like tis..will u be happy? bitch..

$5 may not be alot la..but..I CAN EAT ONE MEAL LEI..if u wanna count every single cent lidat..den u still eat my food for wad??????? my wafer sticks..my chocolates..my marshmellows..DUNNIT MONEY TO BUY ONE AR??????? eeeeeeeediot lei..my purpose of buying food n sharing..is becos I dowan my colleagues to go hungry in between meal times la..so I SHARE..oie..it's supposed to go BOTH WAYS LARH..why are u so mean to all of us..shit u..

wads worse..YOU..ASK us to do OT..den after tat..bitch with another person saying why ppl nowadays wanna OT so much dunno whether boss will like it or not..WTF??? u tink we enjoy doing OT so much ar? I have better things to do lei..I rather go home..spend time with my rabbit..play games..surf net..ANYTHING but stay at work la..n DUH..we work more so tat we can earn more money cos we need it la..not everyone born rich wad..HYPOCRITE!

I was kinda upset..n I cried when I reached home..zzz..I feel so stupid now..

such ppl are just..not worth bothering about..just obstacles thrown in my way..
